I am effectively responsible for running the Payne and Gunter to ensure we deliver our budget. I write client proposals and tenders, carry out client presentations, tastings and sites visits, as well the operational elements of planning, operating and closing down the event’s we operate. I oversee our small but very effective team.
My key responsibility is ensuring we deliver amazing food and a great experience each time. Building and maintaining client and venue relationships is important too. We are only as good as our last event, so we have to ensure each one meets and exceeds our clients expectations.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love the diversity of it, every day is different – from the venue, client and of course the guests. This brings new challenges as well as achievements each time. It’s certainly not a job for the faint hearted!
