I manage the nutrition team and work closely with Compass’ various sector businesses, advising them on health and wellbeing and developing new initiatives that support consumers in maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
My core responsibility is our health and wellbeing strategy, which in essence focuses on delivering a long term approach to improving the health and wellbeing of all our customers from children in schools all the way through the life-cycle to the elderly in hospitals and residential care. Together with the rest of my nutrition colleagues, I work with the business to ensure our food offers are appropriate for all our customers and sectors and comply with the necessary regulations.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The people and my team! I love working for Compass because all of my colleagues are so engaged in health and wellbeing and really see the value in it. Compass is a very diverse organisation with a diverse customer population. No one day is the same and nutritionally this means it’s hugely varied.

What are you most proud of?
I have been with Compass over 10 years now. When I joined I was the only nutritionist but now I have a really strong team and we’ve grown the importance of nutrition internally and externally. Nutrition is now high on the agenda for all our businesses and chefs, ensuring that the nutritional quality of the food we provide for our customers meets their needs.
